References to you imply the person whose personal information we collect, use and process. This includes anyone who visits our Websites, contacts us in relation to the purchase of a Vehicles and/or goods or services we provide, or otherwise interacts with us (e.g. contact enquiry form).

For the purposes of Data Protection Legislation, Steven Eagell Ltd is the data controller of your personal information that we collect, and process as explained within this Privacy Policy.

Sharing your data with Toyota (GB) Plc
We will send your data to Toyota (GB) Plc in order to process your vehicle order and facilitate our side of the contract with you. This will include your contact details, your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), registration number, order information and purchasing history, mobility information and service information. This data will also be shared within Toyota (GB) Plc and affiliate companies (the “Toyota Group”). The information is shared for the purposes of customer satisfaction and management, repair and maintenance, research and development of new vehicles, products, services and technologies, analysing trends and preferences and facilitating access to services offered by the Toyota Group (such as repair and maintenance services or personal financial and insurance services). Toyota (GB) Plc will also be sent your contact details, to request your consent for marketing communications.

Except as required by law, we will not use or disclose your personal information for any purpose for which you have not given us your consent or have requested to no longer be communicated to on a legitimate interest basis. Data storage
The security of your data is paramount. The duration for which we retain your personal information will differ depending on the type of information and the reason why we collected it from you.
However, in some cases personal information may be retained on a long-term basis: for example, personal information that we need to retain for legal purposes will normally be retained for at least seven years in accordance with usual commercial practice and regulatory requirements.
